Good news, everyone! PlayStation Plus, Sony’s subscription-based platform for premium content, add-ons, and free games is lining up a great new deal this coming October. Starting next week, Hideo Kojima’s most recent and latest entry into the heritage Metal Gear Solid series will be free for download for PlayStation Plus users. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a 2015 title, is an exceptional game and installment in the bizarre, wonderfully written, and highly antiquated series dating back through the 1990s.
The PlayStation Plus lineup also features Amnesia: Collection, another notable title that players would be wise to download for free.
These and several other titles will be available for free download on PS4 for Plus subscribers on October 5th.
