Watch the Cinematic Trailer for Fortnite

Epic Games released a new cinematic trailer for their new game Fortnite this week. This action/adventure role-playing game pits players against hordes of nasty monsters, using traps, strongholds, and crazy weapons. The video below gives players a peek at what kind of adventures they can have by themselves or with others online.

As you can see, we’ve got cool weapons, customizable characters, and armies of zombie-monsters. What’s not to like? We’re sensing a big Overwatch/Team Fortress vib, at least artistically. Descriptions show that Fortnite players will be tasked with building their bases to defend against the swarming monsters. All in good fun it seems, as the video didn’t give off anything too dark or menacing, just some (hopefully) enjoyable defensive gaming.

So far, Epic Games has announced a lot of exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners, but the game will cater to Xbox One and PC as well. Fortnite will hit the shelves on July 25th.
