Overwatch Players, Meet Doomfist (He’s New)

Blizzard has officially revealed a new playable character to the wonderful world of Overwatch, one of the gaming world’s most enjoyable online multiplayers. Players, meet you new friend, Doomfist. And yes, he is, as they say, exactly what he sounds like. While he’ll first be appearing in Overwatch’s public test outlets, Doomfist will be providing players with a new offense style character very soon.

Doomfist is a character whose (literal) hand cannon can send opponents reeling off the ground with a single slam. His multitude of devastating attacks include Rocket Punch and Meteor Strike (love it). Akande Ogundimu is his real name, and being a villainous cyborg is his game. The trailer above explains that he is even the leader of other villains in the game world of Overwatch, in which peacekeeping bionically enhanced beings defend nations from non-peacekeeping bionically enhanced beings.

While there is no official release date for Doomfist, we here at Game Chop expect his arrival to be very soon.
