The Legendarium, the pristinely crafted world of J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth is wrought with wonderful of lore and incredibly scaled history. 2014's leading game, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor delved into new independent story, set in the beloved world of The Lord of The Rings. Pitting a Gondorian soldier against the rising tide of the Dark Lord Sauron's building forces, the upcoming sequel, Shadow of War will continue Talion's quest for revenge.

Talion and his family were slaughtered at the Black Gate when it was taken by the orcs of Sauron, 10 years before the events of The Fellowship of The Ring. Cursed, players took control of the Ranger along with a powerful Elven Wraith on a quest for revenge. Chock full of kick ass gameplay and mesmerizing allusions to Tolkien's greater works, Shadow of Mordor was intensely enjoyable. Take a look at Shadow of War's new trailer below.

This new game will give Talion access to new powers, new friends and enemies, and a new army of enslaved orcs. Players can expect a new open world system that brings the story anywhere from the edge of the High Kingdom of Gondor, to the wretched depths of Mordor. This new narrative looks expansive, compelling, and absolutely thrilling.

Stay tuned for more new on Middle-earth: Shadow of War. The game hits markets on October 10th.
