SEGA Provides First Look into Sonic Forces

Surprise! SEGA has released a brief gameplay video promoting a new game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Sonic Forces, which is to be released later this year, puts players back into the blue heritage character's white sneakers. The video below, which is less than a minute long, was published by SEGA today which labels the game as a "modern Sonic."

Only time will tell if this title can break the surface of the modern gaming, as a major Sonic game hasn't been in the public eye in many years. Will this classic formula be more than just a reprisal? We'll have to wait and see. However, we have to admit that the video is impressive, and certainly looks like the classic SEGA staple, transposed onto a current generation console.

Sonic Forces is expected to arrive on marketplaces this Holiday Season for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
