Possible Sequel to Shadow of Mordor Leaked by Target

A potential sequel to 2014's critically acclaimed Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor has been sighted on Target Store's online marketplace listing. This game, titled Middle-earth: Shadow of War, has been spotted sporting both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One digs. The leak was first reported by Twitter user @Wario64.

Shadow of Mordor followed the trials and tribulations of a warrior within the Legendarium, the world of J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings universe. The third-person adventure game from Monolith studios gained extreme popularity through its fun gameplay and fascinating story.

Currently, Shadow of War is slated to be released in August. Game Chop will keep an eye out for any statement from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
