Uncharted Expansion, The Last of Us Part II Announced

Stop what you're doing right now, and pay attention. We don't mean to sound pushy, but this is important. Following a busy week for the gaming industry with the Game Awards, Naughty Dog studios, architects behind the wildly popular Uncharted series and the critically acclaimed masterpiece The Last of Us have made a few notable announcements. By "notable" we of course mean "absolutely sensational."

First, the industry titans who authored Uncharted 4: A Thief's End announced the long-awaited and speculated expansion. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will follow the adventures of fan-favorite Chloe Frazer. Chloe was introduced to audiences during Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and is beloved on all sides. She and former villain of Uncharted 4, Nadine Ross will team up for a brand new action packed journey for treasure and fortune. Watch the trailer from the PlayStation Experience expo open here.

While we knew that a single player DLC was expected to follow Uncharted 4, we had absolutely no idea that it would star Chloe Frazer. It's a wonderful surprise that is already gaining a lot of praise. Naughty Dog couldn't possibly out do that kind of announcement, right? Wrong. During the same conference today, Naughty Dog unveiled an announcement trailer for their perfect 2013 game, The Last of Us. The post-apocalyptic duo of Ellie and Joel are back once again. Ellie, the young and scrappy 14 year old from the original game is now older, grizzled and changed. Gamers are absolutely beside themselves with joy and anticipation today, following the reveals of both these games.
