Nominations for The Game Awards 2016 Announced

Every nominee for the 2016 Game Awards have been released along with each category and description. The list, which spans every major title of the year, will be addressed by major publications from around the world. The five nominees for the Game of the Year Award are Doom, Overwatch, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Titanfall 2 and Inside. Overall, it has been a horrible year for the planet, but an incredible year for the gaming industry.

Other notable mentions include Battlefield 1 for the Best Multiplayer and Alex Hernandez for Best Performance as Lincoln Clay in Mafia III. Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, which quickly received Game Chop's Very Best Game of 2016 recognition, is mentioned for a ground breaking eight awards. Upon final deliberations among the judges, the 2016 Game Awards will take place on December 1st at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
