With a tumultuous election complete, the United States of America has a new President. Donald Trump has defeated Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as of yesterday, November 8th, 2016. While there is nothing to be done to alter the results of this uncomfortable and daunting new reality, we here at Game Chop must speak freely. We will always be a supporting and and loving outlet for people of all ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations and sexual identities.

This is not the end of the world. Experts will tell you this and more. And yet, so many young people across America and the world are in a frenzy of fear and confusion. Let me say this, as your friend and fellow gamer: Game Chop will not stand for inequality. This election may shake us to our cores, it may even reveal things about this country that we find horrifying, but it will not break us.

My advice: invite some friends and family over to play a video game that makes you smile. Do not despair or hide yourselves from those who would disagree with you. Game Chop will continue to be an advocate for the rights of all players and people of every shade this crazy world has to offer. It's my hope that this will eventually bring out the very best of us, rather than the very worst. Keep you heads high, hope in your hearts and controllers in your hands.

Sincerely and Warmly,

Benjamin M. Stembridge
