Among much anticipation, a new trailer for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda was released today, designated as N7 Day as a tribute to series' famous starship. Published by Electronic Arts and developed by BioWare, this new game will act as a sequel to Mass Effect 3 and the original trilogy. It will also jumpstart a new saga in the Mass Effect and bring players to an entirely new galaxy.

The trailer features the new character(s), the Ryder twins, focusing heavily on the brother, who we've seen in some teasers. However, this space-opera video gives us the first glance at the new galaxy these intrepid explorers appear to be entering. While there already seems to be a threat and potential for classic Mass Effect combat, there's no telling what new choose your own adventure style story the game will provide. All we know is that there are new and familiar alien races. Speaking of aliens, depending on where you stand in the game, it looks like Humans may be the aliens now.

This next edition in the ever-popular and ever-successful Mass Effect series has already been welcomed with open arms. Visually, it impresses on all fronts, as it spearheads the PlayStation Pro and other 4K-capable platforms. The game's style will likely introduce more exploratory sequences, as well as the classic combat of the Mass Effect games.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to be released during the Spring of 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
