Lost Ember is an indie game currently in production courtesy of a German company called Mooneye Studio. The vibrantly colored adventure game will have players see through the eyes of various animals, most notably being a wolf. The game was announced at Gamescon 2016, and as of yesterday it is now accepting donations and contributions via a Kickstarter campaign.
Also released yesterday is a new story trailer which details Lost Ember's plot. Taking place in a fictional world consumed by a mysterious apocalypse, the Wolf will take part in a quest to understand the nature of the world. More importantly, it will discover what happened to the people who once occupied the ruined civilization of Machu Kila. In terms of gameplay, the player will be able to control any animal the Wolf encounters, including birds, ground hogs and fish.
In just two days, Mooneye's Kickstarter has raised nearly half of its $110,509 goal, and has been flushed with positive press in reaction to the games beauty. Players seem awfully excited for yet another gorgeous looking indie game, that seems as promising as it can be. Watch the official teaser trailer released at Gamescon here.
Upon reaching its goal by November 10th, Lost Ember will find its way to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC some time in March of 2018.
