Rejoice! The 2010 masterpiece Red Dead Redemption has been gloriously re-released on Xbox One. The open world western dazzled players across the world with its intense story-telling, and patented Rockstar Studios action. Now, the adventures of outlaw John Marston can be relived by Xbox One owners through digital download.

The analysts at Digital Foundry have published a video comparing the frame rates per second between the original Red Dead on Xbox 360, and our newest gift on Xbox One, courtesy of our friends at Kotaku. As you can tell, the re-release has significantly improved the FPS of the third-person shooter. Colors, movement and physical effects all look crisper. Being a gunslinger has never looked or felt so good.

No telling on whether or not Rockstar will release a version for PlayStation 4, but we're hopeful. A PC version is reportedly incoming, but there is no other news on a PS4 release. Game Chop is still just hoping for a sequel!
