The Legend of The Zelda: Breath of the Wild made its debut this past week at E3 2016, and the world is already clamoring for it. This new adventure will take Link through the ruined Kingdom of Hyrule. The reveal trailer has been very well received, and features a Legend of Zelda game that can compete with the current generation titles of this year, as it has done in years past. However, this new story in Link's life is set to bring many new changes to the thirty year old series.

Producer Eiji Aonuma has elaborated on the presence of voice overs in this new game. While the game will not be fully voiced, it is still a huge change for the series. Aonuma explained that the human voices have been added to provide more emotion to Link and his surroundings. Even so, he also explained that Link himself will indeed remain voiceless.
While the inclusion of real human voices is an enormous step in a new direction, it's not the only significant change this title will usher in. Breath of the Wild will be an open world game, and feature some science fiction characteristics. Marvelous and mysterious technology will play a large part in the game, as we've seen during E3. For what it's worth, The Legend of Zelda is changing and proving that a game so many decades old can still surprise us.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is scheduled to be released sometime in 2017. Watch the E3 reveal trailer here!
