Electronic Arts and DICE have released another trailer for the widely popular upcoming installment in the Battlefield series. Battlefield 1 will debut as one of the first games in history to bring World War I into the genre. This week, EA premiered a new trailer which showcases the game's many destructive and unique WWI-era qualities.

The new (and beautiful) shows off some fantastic early-1900s technology, previously unexplored by video games. Zeppelins, first-generation automatic weapons, and improvised close-quarters-combat weaponry. Other highly anticipated features such as mounted war horses and sword combat are also teased during the trailer. Being one of the most significant tragedies in human history, we also expect to see a more intimate and respectful campaign which addresses some of that very poignant history (a campaign that we appear to get a glimpse of near the beginning of the video).

With a stunning combination of visual perfection and fun and unique multiplayer combat, Battlefield 1 seems to show a lot of promise for its October release. Like most Battlefields, we're seeing massive maps, a wide variety of weapons, and very detailed and daunting destructive abilities. We'll keep you all posted on more developments on this title as the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo continues.
